This took, like, half my life lol. I like how it turned out, though. Now that it's almost time to wake up for the day lol *dies*

Anyways, this is something that's been on my mind recently at the place I am in my life. I hate change. I like things to be the way they've always been. I like the security of knowing how things are. Now, in my life, everything around me seems to be changing, and though I try to hold all my tiles in place, they change anyways. I don't always appreciate how they change, though. Sometimes change brings beautiful things. I need to be better about accepting that change and seeing the blessings in disguise.

Anyways, hope you like. I'm going to sleep lol.

This is a beautiful piece, Rain! I love the colors that you chose for it, and the expression on the little critter's face looks so innocent and makes me think that he/she is watching the butterfly transformation with a sense of wonder. Approximately how long did this one take you?

Thank you so much, Dire! I'm really glad you like it that much! It was really a fun piece to experiment with and work on :)

Eh, I'd venture to say about ten hours or more, simply because I didn't know what I was doing lol. There are a lot of things that I had never attempted before, so there was a ton of trial and error thrown in there.
