Well, I'm back from my trip! I had a blast being someplace pretty with an ocean xD It was wonderful and refreshing and it's definitely been a mood-boost for me. I even got a tan, so I don't look like death warmed-over anymore :D

Though I am glad to be back and working on art/fanfictions/plotting my own novel. So many things to do, so little time. It seems like I'm running just to catch myself half the time :'D

In other, almost random news, I went to get pizza tonight and when I walked in, this dude started flirting with me. He was really sweet about it, but he was definitely not my type haha. Then as I was leaving, I had my windows rolled down and was singing along to the "Newsies" at the top of my lungs and got cat-called by some dude in a truck (not classy men, don't do it lol).

These things never happen to me. I think it's the tan. I no longer resemble the living dead :D

I am primarily an animal artist, but I've been known to do my fair share of human art. My style is heavily influenced by anime, though I'm trying to work some of that out of my animal style. I've been drawing a long time but have only recently dappled in digital art :) Love it so far.

I am also a musician. I play piano, saxophone and clarinet and LOVE conducting choirs. I also love writing, though I mainly do fan fiction (I know, I need to be more original haha XD).

A letter found in the office of a missionary, martyred for his faith in Christ in Zimbabwe, Africa. This struck a chord with me, and though I'm not there yet, I want to have this man's faith:

“I’m part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have the Holy Spirit power. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I’m a disciple of his. I won’t look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still.

“My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future is secure. Me, too. I've had to seek out other fixes for my musical needs, now that I've graduated, like musical theater and stuff lol. I need more, though :D

Ah, that's awesome! I've played clarinet/sax for about six years or so, and piano for almost fifteen. Do you enjoy marching band? I never did haha xD I'm more "sit down and play" myself C:
